Islamabad: A Dutch lady namely Amelie Mariohas been arrested from Attaock city close to capital of Pakistan Islamabad, reports Dispatch News Desk (DND) on Monday. Police sources maintained that there is possibility she will be released after investigation.

According to police sources, she was found roaming around Mashallah fuel station and she was intercepted by police who asked her to produce documents of travelling. Amelie Mariohas had no No-Objection Certificate (NOC) which is must for foreigners to travel to semi-tribal and semi- pushtun areas. When she was asked why she was roaming in Attock without NOC, she failed to give an appropriate answer and therefore she was arrested and intelligence wing of police started interrogation with her. She was accompanied by a local man namely Laeeq ur Rehman.

Police sources maintained that there is possibility she will be released after investigation.
