Elections 201390 million rupees approved for NADRA thumb impression verification software

ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister has directed for the installation of state-of-the-art facility for this purpose within 10 days.

Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso has approved 90 million rupees to National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) for the purchase of software and hardware for verification of thumb impressions.

The Prime Minister has also directed NADRA to ensure its procurement and operationalize the facility within the next 10 days.

NADRA duly supported by the Election Commission of Pakistan had approached the Prime Minister Secretariat for purchase of software and hardware for verification of thumb impressions.
