RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Security Forces conducted two separate Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) during the last 24 hours in North Waziristan & Mohmand districts and killed seven terrorists, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a press release issued on Tuesday, the ISPR said that both the IBOs were conducted on confirmed information of terrorist hideouts in North Waziristan and Mohmand districts.

The ISPR said that when the Security Forces carried out the operation in North Waziristan and cordoned off the area, four terrorists tried to flee but were killed. From their possession, a cache of arms and ammunition were recovered.

In another IBO conducted on a terrorist hideout in Mohmand, three terrorists were killed.

The ISPR said that the Security Forces recovered improvised explosive devices (IEDs), night vision sights, extremist literature and Indian origin medicines from the terrorists’ possession.
