The Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has ordered the release of 650 inmates ahead of Eid Al Adha.650 prisoners released in Dubai on eve of Eid Al Adha

Soon-to-be freed prisoners hail from various Countries and have been sentenced in various cases.

   

It is common practice for Rulers of each of the UAE’s emirates to pardon prisoners during significant Islamic occasions.

Earlier on Wednesday, the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan ordered the release of 988 inmates from correctional facilities.

This year, Eid Al Adha will fall in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on June 28, 2023
