Iran6 protestors killed in Indian firing at Ramban district in Kashmir

JAMMU: Six Kashmiri people were killed and several others injured when Indian Border Security Force (BSF) fired at protestors outside their camp in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district of the valley.

BSF personnel opened firing on a protesting mob in Dadam village of Gole Tehsil, district Ramban, early Thursday when they took to roads against yesterday’s incident of manhandling of a religious leader Qari Shabir by the Indian troops who also alleged committed sacrilege of mosque and the holy Quran during their search into the mosque.

Sources said at least six protestors were killed and many others injured in the BSF firing. They were shifted to district hospital Ramban, 151 kilometers from Jammu.
