ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Further 59 COVID-19 patients succumbed to the disease across Pakistan in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 12,026 deaths.

Most of the deaths on February 7 were recorded in Sindh which suffered 32 deaths followed by Punjab wherein 20 patients lost their lives.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province suffered 5 deaths and Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) reported 2 deaths in the last 24 hours.

So far, a total of 4,900 COVID deaths have been registered in Punjab, 4,119 in Sindh, 1,957 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 480 in ICT, 272 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), 196 in Balochistan, and 102 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Throughout the Country, 32,149 tests were conducted for Coronavirus on February 7 which found 1,037 people positive.



In total, 555,511 COVID-19 Cases have so far been detected in the Country including 251,047 in Sindh, 160,935 in Punjab, 68,531 in KPK, 41,994 in ICT, 18,869 in Balochistan, 9,219 in AJK, and 4,916 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Of the total patients having contracted the virus across the Country since the outset, 511,502 have recovered now. Whereas 31,983 patients are still undergoing treatment.
