At least six people including five Chinese nationals were killed after their vehicle was targeted in a suicide attack in Bisham Tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Shangla District, said the Malakand’s Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Mohammad Ali Gandapur.

The DIG Malakand said that a suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into a convoy of foreign engineers which was on its way from Islamabad to their camp in Dasu.

“Five Chinese nationals and their Pakistani driver were killed in the attack,” Gandapur said.5 Chinese killed in suicide attack in KP’s Bisham Tehsil

Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned the attack on Chinese residents in Bisham.

In his statement, the president expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Chinese citizens in the attack.

The president expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased Chinese citizens and the Chinese government.
