QUETTA: Passengers trains in Sindh and Balochistan came under attack when miscreants on two motorbikes opened fire on Friday in which four people lost their lives and 16 others were injured.

Officials said unidentified miscreants on two motorbikes opened fire at Karachi-bound Bahauddin Zakaria Express near Kotri town of Sindh, leaving a child dead and four people injured.

The train was coming from Multan.

The deceased boy has been identified as 8-year-old Salman. Those injured were shifted to civil hospital Hyderabad in a critical condition.

Meanwhile, rockets were fired on Rawalpindi-bound Jaffar Experss near Sibbi town of Balochistan on Friday in which three people were reported killed and 12 others were injured.

The train was coming from restive Quetta city.
