Two Soldiers of Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom in a fight against terrorists in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Wednesday.

The ISPR said that on the night of November 15/16, 2022, a fire exchange took place between security forces and terrorists in Hilal Khel area of Bajaur district.

During the intense exchange of fire, one terrorist got killed and from him, weapon and ammunition was also recovered.

The ISPR said that the killed terrorist remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces.

However, during the intense exchange of fire, Naik Taj Muhammad (33 years old resident of Kohat) and Lance Naik Imtiaz Khan (30 years old resident of Malakand) embraced Shahadat having fought gallantly.

The sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area, the ISPR added.
