ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The first of Ramazan in Pakistan will fall on April 14, 2021, as per the Ministry of Science and Technology.

In a statement on Saturday, the ministry said that the moon of Ramazan (1442 AH) will be sighted on the evening of April 13, 2021, and the first Ramzan will be on April 14, 2021.

The minister said that the Ramazan moon will be clearly sighted in Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, and Karachi.

However, the official announcement regarding the sighting of the Ramazan moon will be announced by the Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad.

The meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee for sighting the crescent of Ramazan will take place at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony in Islamabad on April 13.

Likewise, the meetings of Zonal/District Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will also be held the same day at their respective headquarters at the same time.
