Social11 killed in rain related incidents in KPK, FATA

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: At least 11 more people were killed including men, women and children in two different incidents of roof collapse in Lower Dir district and central Kurram agency on Saturday.

The first incident occurred in Gundal village of central Kurram agency in which six people were killed including two children, three brothers and a woman when the roof of their room collapsed due to torrential rains, political authorities of the agency said.

In other incident, five people of the same family were killed and two injured when the roof of Ahmed Ilyas’s house collapsed, killing all the inmates sleeping in the room in Taimer village in lower Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Head of the family Ahmed Wali, his sons Ilyas, Muslim, daughters Mohsina and Malali were killed in the incident.Qasim and Zulakkha sustained wounds.
