Social22 NGOs get NOC to carry out welfare work in KPK

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday issued No Objection Certificates (NOC) to 22 non-government organization (NGOs) to carry out welfare work for temporarily displaced persons (TDPs) in Southern districts of the province.

An official of the provincial government said that the NGOs are allowed to work in Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Karak, Kohat and Lakki Marwat districts for six months.

He told that the provincial government had stopped local and foreign NGOs from carrying out welfare work in the province after October 26, 2015 earthquake without getting NOC.
