RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: There is tremendous opportunity for Pakistani businessmen to explore new markets in the region, especially in Thailand.

The President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Mian Humayun Parvez said while talking with the ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan Suchart Liengsaengthong in a meeting on Friday.

He said we must enhance bilateral trade relations between the business communities of the two countries.

Humayun said that annual bilateral trade between Thailand and Pakistan is approximately around 1 billion dollars, adding exchange of business delegations could further expand business relations.

He said there are openings in the field of information technology, telecommunication, construction, automobile parts, food processing, fisheries, agriculture, Tourism, hotel industry and real estate.

President RCCI invited the envoy Suchart Liengsaengthong to visit the Chamber, which he accepted.
