10 militants killed as air strikes hit militants’ hideouts in Khyber Agency

PESHAWAR: The security forces carried out air raid against militants’ hideouts in Khyber Agency on Thursday morning that left at least 24 suspected militants killed and 20 others injured.

The militants killed in strikes were involved in multiple terrorist activities including Islamabad fruit market blast, attack on Charsadda police and security forces convoys, and kidnapping incidents on FR Road Peshawar and Matani, media citing sources reported.

It was the first major air raid against militants’ hideouts in tribal region after the outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) announced not to extend ceasefire on April 16.
