PakistanPPP rejects Indian media news about differences of Bilawal Bhutto with Zardari

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has contradicted a news item onair and published in India and was released by Press Trust of India claiming that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has left for Dubai after a quarrel with his father, President Asif Ali Zardari, over the affairs of the PPP, leaving the party without its star campaigner for Pakistan’s general election.

PPP authorities are of the view that this news is concocted, bases and having no source and it has been released just to defame and damage PPP just before general elections in the country.

It may be mentioned that Press Trust of India (PTI) released a story that was carried by a number of newspapers and television channels including NDTV. The report claims that Bilawal has developed differences with Zardari and his sister, Faryal Talpur, over the party’s handling of key issues, including militant violence, sectarian attacks against Shias and the award of party tickets for the polls scheduled for May 11.
