ISLAMABAD: An earthquake of 5.7 magnitude jolted several parts of the country including the capital on Tuesday, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

According to the US Geological department‚ the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.7 Richter scale while epicenter was 11km of Mehtar Lam‚ Afghanistan.

Other areas which were jolted by the earthquake include Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Abbotabad, Hazara, Swat, Peshawar, Parachinar, Sargodha, and Kasur.

There are no immediate reports of any damage or casualties
