HANGU: An Army soldier was killed in a landmine blast in Ghaljo area in Orakzai Agency on Friday, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 20 July, 2012.
The sources said that Zar Syed was on routine foot patrol when he stepped on a landmine planted on the roadside.
“A huge explosion occurred and the soldier died on the spot,” the sources added.
